May 15 Lunch N Learn: Alicia Parks Schlossberg

Alicia Parks Schlossberg is the Manager of School History and Heritage at the Milton Hershey School. As a Palmyra native, she loves making local history come alive through her work. Prior to this position, Alicia obtained an M.A. in History from Villanova University and worked as an educator at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Historical Society of Pennsylvania. She hopes her presentation will help you take a trip down memory lane as she discusses the history of the Hershey community, the Milton Hershey School, and Mr. Hershey himself.

 Join Alicia for a session about the rich and chocolatey history of the Hershey community. Alicia will share the inspiring story of the Milton Hershey School and its role as a testament to Mr. Hershey’s vision for education and philanthropy. She will also explore the lasting legacy of Milton Hershey, highlighting how his ideas and dedication to community transformation continue to impact lives today!

Each boxed lunch includes a sandwich of your choice, chips, pickle, cookie, and a drink for $8.00. You may choose to bring your own lunch or simply attend to hear the speaker.

Lunch N Learn presentations are held in our Snell Community Center inside our Fellowship Hall. When you enter through the main road, you will follow the road straight until you see a sign that says Snell Community Center. Parking is free and will be available. Volunteers will be available to show you the way to the registration table and where to pick up your lunch if you purchased one. Registration is at 11:30. Presentation will start promptly at 12:00pm. Attendees will find theirs seats at a table to watch the presentation.
