April Miller serves North Star Initiative as the Director of Development since 2023. Her unique resume led her to begin fundraising for the kingdom of God in 2017. She has lived in Lancaster County her entire life. A wife and mother of two, she joined North Star and quickly became passionate about helping trafficked women. April brings extensive experience in event management, fundraising, and donor relations. She holds an associate degree in Paralegal studies and holds a certification as a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE), demonstrating her commitment to ethical and effective fundraising. Driven by faith, she uses her skills to raise awareness and combat human trafficking.

North Star Restoration Program/The Ubiquity of Human Trafficking Presentation

In her presentation, April will be sharing about human trafficking – what it is, where it is happening, how we can help protect vulnerable people in our community and what North Star does to help advocate for and restore survivors of sex trafficking.

Each boxed lunch includes a sandwich of your choice, chips, pickle, cookie, and a drink for $8.00. You may choose to bring your own lunch or simply attend to hear the speaker.
Event Information
Lunch N Learn presentations are held in our Snell Community Center inside our Fellowship Hall. When you enter through the main road, you will follow the road straight until you see a sign that says Snell Community Center. Parking is free and will be available. Volunteers will be available to show you the way to the registration table and where to pick up your lunch if you purchased one. Registration is at 11:30. Presentation will start promptly at 12:00pm. Attendees will find their seats at a table to watch the presentation, seats are not assigned.
